Families with young teens join us in Bandon! SWOCC release – Coos Bay, OR – Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Pathways to Positive Parenting program is offering a free seven-week course titled “Strengthen Your Family Team” in Bandon. This course is designed for teens ages 9 to 12 and their parents. Join us each Tuesday at Ocean Crest Elementary (1040 Allegheny Ave. SW, Bandon) from April 7, 2020 to May 19, 2020 for family fun. We will build family skills such as:setting limits, positive communication, peer refusal skills, and much more. A FREE dinner will start at 5:30 pm each Tuesday, and the workshops will start at 6:00 pm, lasting until 8:00 pm. Teens will attend a ‘teen only’ activity first while parents attend their own parenting workshop. After the breakouts, parents and teens join together for a family activity.
