Structure Fire on Hwy. 38, Oct. 6

Traffic Alert, Sunday, Oct. 5, 12:13 p.m. ODOT: SW Oregon: Oregon 38 is closed west of Drain due to a structure fire. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until the highway can be reopened. Second alert at 4:28 p.m., ODOT: SW Oregon: As of 4:20 p.m., Oregon 38 is fully open, following a structure fire that necessitated closing the highway for fire department support. The highway was closed for more than three hours with traffic was rerouted using a local detour. One lane was reopened at 3 p.m.
