Camps offer hands-on activities in the estuary with a focus on natural history and outdoor exploration. Campers bring their own lunch, but a snack is provided during the day.    Camps are designed to fit the abilities and interests of campers according to the grade they will be entering in the Fall of 2017. Registration is available online: http://www.oregon.gov/dsl/SS/Pages/Camp.aspx  June 28 to June 30, 9 am to 1 pm, Zoea Camp (Kindergarten and grade 1) $55; July 12 to 14, 9 am to 2 pm, Megalops Camp (grades 2 & 3) $65; July 26 to 28, 9 am to 3 pm, Instar Camp (grades 4 & 5) $70; August 2 to 4, 9 am to 3 pm, Dungeness Camp (grade 6 & above) $70; August 16 to 18, 9 am to 2 pm, Megalops Camp (grades 2 & 3) $65. This year Summer Science Camps will run three days, Wed-Fri rather than four as in previous years.  There is a slight reduction in cost to account for the shorter time frame.  All fees include snacks and a t-shirt and help cover the cost of instructors. *The Friends of South Slough Inc.
