NBPL release – The North Bend Library will kick off their Summer Reading Program on June 15, with registration beginning Monday, May 27. Participants can register online at https://northbend.beanstack.com or by downloading the Beanstack app on all Apple and Android devices. Then, read, complete activities, and attend library programs to win weekly prizes and a chance to win a grand prize at the end of the summer. Summer Reading Program schedules are available at the circulation desk in the Library or online at www.northbendlibrary.org. There are programs for every age group or reading level. The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program is “Read, Renew, Repeat,” featuring “the idea of conservation. Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining, and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. iREAD 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation.” iRead.
