Newport Chapter of Surfrider Foundation invites everyone interested in clean water and healthy beaches to their annual Holiday Party on Thursday, December 13 at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club (750 SE Bay Blvd.). The festivities start at 6:30 and include food, drinks, raffle prizes and a Newport style beach vibe. Music will be provided by Steve Cook.There will be a program recognizing volunteer contributions and talking about plans for 2019. Admission is free for chapter members ( renewal at the door will be available ). $15 admission for everybody else. Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches.
