LCSO release – Acting on leads developed during the investigation of the vandalism that occurred at a residence in the Santa Clara area on July 16th 2021, deputies were able to establish probable cause to apply for a search warrant to search another residence in the Santa Clara area. On Sunday, August 1st 2021, deputies executed this warrant and contacted at least one male believed to be involved in the July 16th incident. Subsequent to investigation deputies arrested 19 year old Maxwell Adam Lewis and lodged him at the Lane County Jail. Several items of evidence related to the vandalism incident were uncovered including a paintball gun and the suspect vehicle depicted in the surveillance images. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for its assistance in this case. At this time the suspect vehicle that had previously been depicted is no longer of interest.
