Visiting Mt. Hood beat Southwestern Oregon’s men 88-84 Saturday in an NWAACC game at Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay campus. The Lakers (16-6) fall to 5-3 in the South Division, and are tied for third with the Saints (16-5), and one game back of co-leaders Portland (6-2) and Chemeketa (6-2). SWOCC’s women beat the Saints 64-60. Aminata Cole scored 24-points for Southwestern (2-5, 13-10). The Laker men host Linn-Benton Wednesday, and both teams play at Clackamas in Oregon City on Saturday.
