Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team swept a pair of NWAC games from visiting Chemeketa 7-4 & 9-7 Thursday at Coos Bay. SWOCC (13-9, 18-16) plays at Chemeketa (Salem) on Saturday 1 & 4p. No. 3 Southwestern Oregon’s softball team (12-4, 22-7) hosts South Conference leader Mt. Hood (16-2, 29-2) Saturday for an NWAC doubleheader on the Coos Bay campus, noon & 2p. The Laker track team will host the Steve Prefontaine Masters on Saturday, 11a.
