The Southwestern Oregon Community College Board of Education has an opening for a new board member. Board Position #7, held by Judy May-Lopez since 2013, will be vacant following Lopez’s resignation, effective February 1, 2017. Position #7 expires June 30, 2017 and preference will be given to Curry County residents. Voters will choose a permanent board member in the next Special Districts election.
