Southwestern Oregon’s men opened their own NWAC Crossover Tournament Friday in Coos Bay with an 85-75 loss to Whatcom. On Saturday, the Lakers beat Green River 83-62. SWOCC (9-4) next plays Jan. 4th at Umpqua. Southwestern’s women went to a crossover tournament at Skagit Valley in Washington State. The Lakers dropped their opener Friday 69-50 to Skagit Valley. On Saturday, SWOCC lost 79-60 to Spokane. Southwestern (6-6) next plays at Umpqua on Jan. 4th.
