Southwestern Oregon’s men won their fourth straight NWAC basketball game Wednesday, 79-76 over visiting Umpqua CC. The Lakers (8-4, 16-9) are currently in second place in the NWAC South Region and scheduled to play at Clark College, Vancouver, WA Saturday, 4 p.m. SWOCC’s women lost 78-57 to visiting Umpqua CC Wednesday. The Lakers (3-9, 7-16) play at Clark Saturday, 2 p.m.
