Not a good road trip to Albany for Southwestern Oregon’s basketball teams. Both lost to the Road Runners. The men fell 78-65 in an NWAC contest that dropped the Lakers (7-4, 18-6) into third place in the South. The women lost 52-52. Next up for SWOCC is Chemeketa at home Saturday. Women (2-9, 6-14) at 2 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 4 p.m., Prosper Hall, on the Coos Bay campus.
