Southwestern Oregon’s basketball teams swept visiting Chemeketa in a pair of NWAC games at Prosper Hall in Coos Bay on Saturday. The women won 76-72, while the men prevailed 101-96. The Lakers next play at Mt. Hood in Gresham Jan. 28. The Laker women are 3-3 (fourth place) in the South Region and 9-9 overall. The men are 4-2 (third place), 13-6.
