Visiting Southwestern Oregon was swept by Umpqua Wednesday night in an NWAC basketball doubleheader at Winchester. The Laker men (3-5, 8-11) lost 101-88 and will host Mt. Hood on Saturday, Feb. 1, 4 p.m. SWOCC’s women (2-6, 8-13) fell 103-51 to the top-ranked Riverhawks. Like the men, Southwestern hosts Mt. Hood on Saturday, 2 p.m., Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay campus.
