Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball team won at Clackamas CC, 89-79 Saturday dropping the Cougars (5-2, 13-7) into a tie for first-place in the South of the NWAC with Umpqua CC (5-2, 13-6), while the Lakers (4-3, 12-8) are a game behind with Linn-Benton CC tied for third. SWOCC hosts the Road-Runners (4-3, 9-11) Wednesday, Feb. 1, 7:30 p.m. Southwestern’s women (3-4, 7-11) lost at second-place Clackamas CC 84-49 and will host Linn-Benton CC Wednesday, Feb. 1, 5:30 p.m., Prosper Hall on the Coos Bay campus.
