Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team took three-out-of-four NWAC games from visiting Clackamas CC Friday and Saturday at Coos Bay. The Lakers swept the doubleheader on Friday 8-5 & 9-2. On Saturday, the Cougars won the first game 9-8, but SWOCC got the second 2-1. Southwestern (9-7, 16-10) is scheduled to next host Umpqua (10-10, 16-12) on Thursday, April 13, 1 & 4 p.m. The Laker softball team swept a doubleheader from Chemeketa CC Saturday at Salem, 6-2 & 12-0. SWOCC (12-0, 24-2) is scheduled to play at Yakima Valley (5-11, 6-14) on Saturday, April 15.
