Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team won three-out-of-four NWAC games from Lane Friday & Saturday. In Coos Bay Friday, the South Conference third-place Lakers (17-11, 22-18) split with the fourth-place Titans (13-11, 18-15) winning the first game 4-1, but dropping the second 14-1. On Saturday at Eugene, SWOCC took both games, 8-5 & 7-4. Southwestern travels to first-place Linn-Benton (25-3, 29-7), Albany, on Thursday, April 25, 1 & 4 p.m. The Laker softball team split a pair of NWAC Crossover games on the road Saturday. SWOCC beat Spokane 8-7, but lost to Everett at Yakima, 8-7. Southwestern is at Clark College, Vancouver, WA, Saturday, April 27, noon & 2p.
