Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team is scheduled to open the 2019 season by taking on New Hope Christian in Eugene Friday, 6:30 p.m. On Saturday & Sunday, the Lakers will compete in the Fall Festival at the Bob Keefer Center in Springfield. SWOCC’s cross country teams will open the season in Eureka, CA Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Beat the Heat Run, College of the Redwoods. The men’s soccer team is at Highline CC in Tukwila, WA Friday and Everett CC in Everett on Saturday. The women’s soccer team takes on Pierce College in Lakewood, WA Friday.
