Southwestern Oregon’s men dropped two games at the South Puget Sound Crossover basketball tournament in Washington Thursday and Friday. The Lakers lost their first game to Spokane 105-91, and then fell on Friday to Pierce 90-88. Garrett Stout scored 19 for Southwestern (6-7). SWOCC’s women went to the Green River Crossover tourney in Auburn, WA. The Lakers lost Thursday to Treasure Valley 63-60. On Friday, Southwestern beat Tacoma 72-65, Katelyn Rossback with 22 points. On Saturday, the Lakers (8-5) bettered Olympic 81-75, to take fourth place. Rossback had 15. SWOCC is now off until the first of the year, January 2nd at Clackamas, when they begin counting NWAC games.
