Southwestern Oregon downed visiting Clackamas CC 63-56 Saturday in Coos Bay. The Lakers (5-3, 14-9) are in second place trailing NWAC South Region leader Umpqua (9-0, 22-2) with four games remaining in the regular season. SWOCC’s men (3-7, 6-17) made it a clean sweep with a 93-90 upset win over the second place Cougars (7-3, 15-10). Southwestern’s teams play at Umpqua CC Wednesday and then Chemeketa CC in Salem Saturday.
