Southwestern Oregon’s basketball teams were swept on the road by Linn-Benton CC at Albany Wednesday in a pair of NWAC games. The Laker women lost 86-80 in the opener. Jade Chavez scored a season high 21-points, Sydney Smith 16, Savannah Thurman 15, Kaylie Vaughan 12, Riley Wahl 9, Ricki Mock 4, Tiare Sugui 2, Ashley Ensminger 1. The men dropped a 106-98 game to the Roadrunners. Ivan Harper scored 22, Davonta Price 18, Duke Mitchell 14, Cooper Stateler 11, Jake Lucero 11, Erik Johnson 11, Garrett Stout 5, Mike Fesser Jr. 3, Cameron Lucero 2, Thomas Salmon 1. Both the men (5-9, 11-16) and women (3-11, 11-16) play at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham on Saturday.
