Southwestern Oregon opens NWAC basketball play on Saturday at home. The Laker women play Mt. Hood at 2 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 4 p.m., in Coos Bay.
Southwestern Offering Intramural Basketball Program
Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Athletic Department is hosting 5 on 5 Intramural Basketball this winter. The games will take place every Sunday, beginning January 18, 2015; 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Student Recreation Center on the Coos Campus, 1988 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay. The program is free to all SWOCC students and $5.00 for non-students (one-time fee). Registrations are due by noon, January 15, 2015 and should be made at the front desk of the Rec Center.
