Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team swept visiting Chemeketa Friday at Coos bay, 10-0 & 10-1 in NWAC play. The Lakers (4-2, 7-7) are scheduled to play at Lane, Eugene, Thursday, March 14, noon & 3p. SWOCC’s softball team won three games at the Tri-Cities of Washington. On Saturday, Southwestern downed Edmonds 4-2 and Walla Walla 13-5. Sunday, the Lakers beat Pierce 11-2. SWOCC (9-3) opens NWAC league play Friday, March 15, at Chemeketa, Salem, 1 & 3p.
