Edmonds CC of Washington swept Southwestern Oregon Community College’s baseball team in a pair of doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, SWOCC lost the first game 7-6 in 10 innings, followed by a 4-0 Edmonds decision in the nightcap. On Sunday, the Lakers fell 14-3 and 7-4.

Southwestern Oregon’s softball team won at Walla Walla CC Friday, 17-3 in a five-inning game. Walla Walla led the second game 5-1 in the top of the seventh. The Lakers were scheduled to play a doubleheader against Columbia Basin on Sunday.
