Linn-Benton CC (10-6, 15-14) dropped visiting Southwestern Oregon into third-place in the South Region of the NWAC with an 84-62 win over the Lakers Wednesday night at Albany. SWOCC (9-6, 17-11) has one game remaining at Portland CC (7-8, 11-15) Saturday, March 4, 4 p.m. Southwesterns women also fell at LBCC Wednesday, 51-30. Lakers (3-12, 7-19) close out the regular season Saturday at Portland CC, 2 p.m. SWOCC’s baseball team won two games over visiting Grays Harbor Wednesday, 3-0 & 9-1. Saturday & Sunday, Southwestern (5-1) hosts Blue Mtn. at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m., both days.
