Southwestern Oregon’s men’s basketball team lost its opener at the NWAC Tournament in the Tri-Cities of Washington Thursday, 86-76 to Everett. Lakers finish 23-7. SWOCC’s baseball team opens NWAC play by hosting Chemeketa for two games, Friday, noon & 3p. The Lakers’ softball team plays in an NWAC Preseason Tournament at Pasco, WA Saturday with three-games, beginning with Edmonds at 10a, followed by Walla Walla, 12:30p, Columbia Basin at 5:30p. On Sunday, Southwestern plays Pierce at 8:30a.
