Southwestern Oregon split its final season NWAC baseball games with visiting Mt. Hood Saturday at Coos Bay. The Lakers won the opener 11-4, but dropped the second game 4-3 to the Saints. SWOCC (20-16, 27-10) clinched a playoff spot from the NWAC South as the fourth-place team. Southwestern Oregon’s softball team swept two games at Lower Columbia, Longview, WA on Friday, 11-2 & 5-3. SWOCC (27-1, 43-3) finishes in first place in the NWAC South.
