Southwestern Oregon’s softball team advanced to the championship semi-finals at the 2023 NWAC Tournament at Delta Parks, Portland, with a couple of wins on Thursday. The Lakers opened the tourney with an 8-0 win over Centralia, then followed with a 4-0 quarter-final win over Columbia Basin. SWOCC will play North Idaho in the semi-final Friday, 12:30 p.m. Southwestern’s baseball team will play Saturday against Clark College, at Edmonds, WA, in a North Super Regional Game, 1 p.m.
