Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team swept Umpqua CC 3-0 on the road north of Roseburg Saturday. The Lakers (1-6, 14-11) will next play at Clark College in Vancouver, WA, Friday, Oct. 18, 6:30 p.m., and then Saturday at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham, 2 p.m. Visiting Lane CC from Eugene beat SWOCC’s women in soccer Saturday, 3-0, in Coos Bay. Southwestern (1-9, 0-10-1) hosts Clark College on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2 p.m. in Coos Bay.
