Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team got an NWAC split at home this past weekend. The Lakers beat Chemeketa 3-2 Friday, but fell 3-2 to Clackamas on Saturday. With four-matches to go in the regular season, fourth-place SWOCC (7-5, 13-11) is at first-place Linn-Benton (12-0, 27-0) Friday, 6p, and third-place Lane (8-4, 12-5) Saturday, 2p. With one match to go in the regular season, SWOCC’s men lost a home soccer match Saturday 5-2 to visiting Lane. The Lakers (0-10-3, 0-12-3) end the season at first-place Rogue (10-2, 10-3-1), Grants Pass, Saturday, Oct. 28th, 2:30p. Southwestern’s women have two matches remaining in the regular season. On Saturday the Lakers tied visiting Umpqua 1-1. SWOCC (1-5-4, 1-8-4) will be away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at second-place Chemeketa (5-0-5, 5-3-5), Salem, and end the season at fourth-place Rogue (2-2-6, 3-3-6) on Saturday, noon. Southwestern’s cross-country teams are set to run at the Southern Region Championships, Saturday, Oct. 28th at Roseburg.
