Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team won three matches and lost one at Walla Walla Invitational Friday & Saturday. On Friday, SWOCC fell to Walla Walla 3-1 (28-26, 25-13, 21-25, 25-12), but beat Grays Harbor 3-1 (25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20). On Saturday, the Lakers downed Mt. Hood 3-2 (24-26, 26-28, 25-21, 25-22, 15-8), and Green River 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-17). The volleyball team next plays at the Grays Harbor X-Over Saturday & Sunday in Aberdeen, WA. Southwestern’s women’s soccer dropped their home opener Saturday 3-0 to Lane. The Lakers play at Chemeketa in Salem Wednesday and then against Rogue in Grants Pass Saturday.
