Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team opened the 2015 NWAC season with a pair of road losses. The Lakers (0-2, 11-10) dropped three straight to Mt. Hood on Friday (25-21, 25-18, 25-20). On Saturday, SWOCC dropped three (25-15, 25-19, 25-17) to Clackamas at Oregon City. The volleyball team hosts Umpqua on Wednesday. Southwestern’s men (2-2-0, 3-5-1) lost 2-1 to visiting Portland CC on Saturday in Coos Bay, but the women’s team (2-3-0, 2-6-1) beat Portland 4-0. SWOCC’s women play at Lane in Eugene Wednesday, while the men host Chemeketa Saturday.
