Southwestern Oregon’s mens soccer team dropped thier 2019 season opener 2-1 to Highline CC in Tukwila, WA Friday. The Laker women also lost their opener falling to Pierce College Friday 2-0 also in Tukwila. SWOCC’s volleyball team lost 3-1 at New Hope Christian in Eugene on Friday. On Saturday, Southwestern beat Everett 2-0 at the Bob Keefer Center in Springfield and later that day beat College of the Redwoods 2-0. On Sunday, the Lakers bettered Columbia Basin 2-1, but lost to Rogue 2-0.
