During September, North Bend Public Library is offering take-and-make craft kits for children ages twelve and under. “Pirates, Pancakes, & Piggies” provides an opportunity to celebrate reading and participate in library programs at home. The kits include games, crafts and even pancake mix to make. The take-and-make kits allow children and families to participate in NBPL’s annual children’s program, “Pancakes and Piggies,” which always included a reading of If You Give a Pig a Pancake, as well as a celebration of September 19th, “Talk Like a Pirate Day.” Kits may be picked up on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm, 4 pm to 6 pm, or Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Curbside pick-up on Tuesdays or Thursdays is also available by calling the library at 541-756-0400. Supplies are limited. For more information about this event and other children’s programs, please contact the North Bend Public Library at 541-756-0400, email lchipman@coastlinelibrarynetwork.org or see our website at http://northbendoregon.us/library.
