CBPL release – Teens ages 12-18 are invited to share their original poetry at an Open Mic Thursday, April 28 at 5:00pm at the Coos Bay Public Library. The public is welcome to attend the free event. Refreshments will be available; no pre-registration is necessary to participate. The event is being offered to celebrate National Poetry Month in conjunction with the Library’s Young Writers program. During the school year, the Coos Bay Public Library hosts a weekly writing program for young writers Thursdays at 4:00pm.
