Two cold teenagers were rescued by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter from Astoria early Sunday morning, Aug. 10, after they became stranded on the North Oregon Coast. The two were caught by an incoming tide near Cannon Beach. They were reported overdue after midnight and then found by a local rescue team stranded on a rock. The helicopter hoisted them to safety.
