Our Nation’s celebration of its birthday is the Fourth of July. Most communities set off Fireworks to Celebrate the date; however, some communities along the Oregon Coast get a jump on the celebration with fireworks on July 3rd. The Coquille Tribe is one. At their Mill Casino/Hotel/RV Park location, fireworks will begin at dusk and a large crowd/traffic is expected. Fireworks are also airborne at Port Orford in Curry Co., Waldport and Lincoln City in Lincoln Co. The rest of the nation will celebrate their fireworks, including Coos Bay, on the Fourth of July.
