Tourist dies crossing Hwy. 101, Sept. 2

A tourist from Connecticut died Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland after she was struck by a vehicle Monday, Aug. 25, on Hwy. 101 in Lincoln City. Roberta L. Morton, of Gales Ferry, was attempting to cross the busy four-lane highway in a crosswalk near the Lincoln City Cultural Center. She was flown by air ambulance to Portland.
