Traffic Stop Results in Three Arrests, Oct. 30

News release from CBPD. On 10/25/15 at approximately 3:22 p.m. hours, officers from the Coos Bay Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 1989 Nissan operated by 36 year old James M. Wenzell. Also, in the vehicle with Wenzell were 30 year old Cassie Littles and 33 year old Jacob Burch. Wenzell, who has a suspended driver’s license, was taken into custody for Driving While Suspended (misdemeanor) and a Probation Violation. Burch was arrested for a Probation Violation and Littles, who initially gave a false name to officers, was eventually identified and subsequently arrested for two active warrants for her arrest. Additionally, officers located a stolen firearm concealed in Little’s waist band. She was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
