The Transitional Education Department, a college and career preparation program at Southwestern Oregon Community College, will be offering GED exam preparation, college and career preparation, and college placement test preparation this fall. Students can build a pipeline to enter college, training programs and jobs in high-demand career areas. Orientation is scheduled for September 24 – 26 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in Tioga Hall, 3rd floor, on the Coos Bay Campus. All new students must call 541-888-7116 to schedule a time for orientation for fall term. Classes will be held Monday – Thursday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, based on individual schedules. Transitional Education hours are: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The cost per term is $50. Fall term 2014 is September 29 through December 11, 2014.
