ODOT release – SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Safety Committee will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. via teleconference. Directions for joining the meeting are available on the agenda. The committee will hear a presentation about smart traffic signals, and receive updates on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Program and the Driver Education Program. Committee members will also hear member and liaison reports and an update from the Traffic Safety Office. The OTSC advises the Oregon Transportation Commission and ODOT on issues, policies and programs that affect transportation safety in Oregon. OTSC meetings are open to the public. You may submit comments to the commission by sending them to Brandy.Anderson-Gillock@odot.state.or.us. The next meeting of the OTSC is scheduled for Dec. 8.
