U.S. 101 (Oregon Coast Highway), MP 211, Umpqua River & McIntosh Slough Bridge (Reedsport). Beginning Tuesday morning, June 30, until Thursday evening, July 2, U.S. Highway 101 motorists should expect lane closures and delays on the Umpqua River Bridge at the north end of Reedsport. Flaggers will provide traffic control. The lane closures will allow workers to replace a failing bridge bearing. All lanes are expected to be open for the Independence Day weekend (July 3-5). Starting Monday, July 6, motorists should expect intermittent daytime lane closures due to repair work on the bridge deck.
