Travelers should expect delays up to 20 minutes, Aug. 23

ODOT release – WALTON – Travelers should expect up to 20 minute delays on OR 126W Florence-Eugene Highway west of Walton. The final portion of construction of a westbound passing lane is underway with the installation of a culvert and paving. Flaggers and a pilot car direct traffic through the mile long work zone between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Next week, August 26 – 29, flagging will be 24-hours a day. Where traffic is routed through or around a work zone, pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will also be provided routes through or around the work zone.
