TRIO Program at Southwestern holds Valentine’s Day Fundraiser, Feb. 14

SWOCC news release.  Show that special someone how much you care with a handmade Candygram! TRIO Student Support Services Club will be holding a fundraising event selling Candygrams to make your life easier this Valentine’s Day.  For only $5 you can pick up your custom-made Candygram on February 14, 2018 at Southwestern Oregon Community College, 1988 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay, in Empire Hall between 11 am and 1 pm. Candygrams come complete with a handmade rose lollipop, chocolates, and your special someone’s name done in beautiful calligraphy. If you would prefer the club deliver your Candygram, they will do so on February 14 for $7 (deliveries done only in North Bend and Coos Bay). Pre-orders must be made by February 13, 2018 by emailing chloe.eberlein@socc.edu or calling 541-888-7494.  All proceeds go towards the TRIO Student Support Services Club for cultural enrichment activities. TRIO is a federally funded program that promotes and assists students transferring to a four-year university. TRIO students are low income, first generation college students, and/or have a documented disability.
