A movement that started in Colorado continues in Oregon’s Bay Area as stadium lights at both Marshfield and North Bend high schools will be turned on Friday nights in honor of the students who were sent home because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The lights will go on at Vic Adams Field and Pete Susick Stadium at 8:20 p.m., 20:20 military time in honor of the Class of 2020. Supporters say it is a way of showing support to the two school’s seniors and athletes who are unable to compete this Spring because of the deadly virus.
