On Thursday, July 4, 2019 at approximately 11:40 A.M. Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash on HWY 207 near milepost 19. Preliminary investigation reveals that 2015 Ford F350 (pulling a trailer), operated by Yancey Fall (51) of Prineville, was northbound. A 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by Frank Lord Jr. (52) of Tigard, was southbound when he lost control, in a corner, and slid into the the Ford F350 and trailer. Lord sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Oregon State Police was assisted by Emergency Medical Services from Fossil and Spray, the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office and ODOT. Hwy 207 was closed for approximately 5 hours.
