Underground Storage Tanks in Oregon, Oct. 21

Of the nearly 600 underground Storage tank facilities inspected by the state throughout Oregon this past year, 86.3 percent complied with state and federal environmental regulations and don’t pose an environmental risk to soil and groundwater. The percentage of tank facilities in compliance in Oregon far exceeds the national average of 72.1 percent, according to a recently released “Underground Storage Tank Public Record” report issued by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
