Unemployment Rates, May 31

According to a report from the Oregon Employment Dept., unemployment in Coos County in April 2019 was higher than the past two years.  Coos Co. had a rate of 5.6% unemployed in April, compared to 5.3% last year and 5.4% in 2017.  In Curry Co., the rate was also up, 6.2% in April 2019, compared with 5.8% last year and 6.0% in 2017.  Douglas Co. was also up with a rate of 5.6%, compared to 5.3% last year and 5.3% in 2017.
