Oregon pitchers didn’t allow another hit after a leadoff single Wednesday, and the Ducks’ offense broke through to end the team’s four-game losing streak with a 4-0 nonconference victory over Seattle at Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro. Freshman left-hander Jacob Corn (3-0) teamed with three relievers to hold the Redhawks hitless following a single to open the game. Corn pitched around five walks over 5 2/3 innings, then watched relievers Brac Warren, Josh Graham and Garrett Cleavinger slam the door for the second shutout of the season by the Ducks (18-12). The Ducks open a three-game series against Michigan State on Friday at 6 p.m. in PK Park.
