UO release – By: Patrick Pierson, SAN FRANCISCO – Just over a week after announcing the return of football this fall, the Pac-12 released a seven-game, conference-only schedule on Saturday that commences on Saturday, Nov. 7, with No. 14 Oregon hosting Stanford at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks will play all five fellow Pac-12 North Division foes while its crossover opponent will be a home showdown with UCLA on a Friday night (Nov. 20) in week three. Home and away distinctions against all five North Division opponents remained the same from the original schedule. The seventh and final week will feature all twelve teams in action highlighted by the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, presented by 76®, on December 18, which this year will take place in a home-hosted format. Details surrounding matchups and television selections for games other than the Football Championship Game in Week 7 will be determined in the near future. The 125th season in Oregon football history is scheduled to begin with the aforementioned home game against Stanford, which will mark the first home conference opener to start a season since 2008 against Washington. A second consecutive road game at California on Saturday, Dec. 5, is on the week five docket before Oregon closes out the season at Autzen Stadium against Washington.
